Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment, Applications are invited only through online mode from eligible candidates up to 11.59 P.M on 07.07.2017 for the Direct Recruitment of Lecturers (Engineering / Non- Engineering) in Government Polytechnic Colleges for the year 2017-2018.

Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 57 years of age as on 1-7-2017.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600– 39100/-+Grade Pay Rs.5400/-pm
- Lecturers in Engineering Subjects: A first class Bachelor’s degree in the branch of Engineering relating to the post concerned.
- Lecturers in non-Engineering Subjects: A first class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of study.
- Candidates should possess the requisite qualification in relevant subject awarded by a University or Institutions recognized by University Grants Commission.
- As per the G.O.No.242 Higher Edn. (P1) Dept., dated 18.12.2012, for engineering subjects, the candidates should qualify 10+2+4 / 10+3+3 pattern for engineering subject and 10+2+3+2 / 10+3+3+2/ 11+2+3+2 pattern for non-engineering subject.
Selection Process: Written Test & Awarding weight age marks during Certificate Verification.
Application Fee: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/SCA/ST and PWD candidates towards examination fee payable only through online net banking /credit card/debit card. The candidates have also to pay the service charges as applicable for online payment.
Certificates have to be produced at the time of
Certificate Verification, if called for:
a) Original Certificates and Mark statements pertaining to the
following Educational qualifications
i. 10th / SSLC
ii. H.S.C. or its equivalent
iii. U.G. Degree in the relevant subject
iv. P.G. Degree in the relevant subject.
b) Community Certificate: Community Certificate should be obtained from the below-mentioned authorities of Government of Tamilnadu for candidates claiming Communal reservation.
i) ST – Revenue Divisional Officer ( if the certificate is issued after 11.11.1989)
ii) SC/SCA – Tahsildar of native taluk of the candidate.
iii) BC / MBC / DNC – Headquarters Deputy Tahsildar
or Special Deputy Tahsildar.
c) Tamil Medium Study Certificate: Candidate who claims
reservation under PSTM category has to produce Tamil Medium Study Certificate.
d) Teaching Experience Certificate (If applicable): Teaching
Experience Certificate for working as a Lecturer in the applied post, after completing all the required qualifications for the post, to be produced for claiming weightage marks for teaching experience.
e) Disability Certificate (If applicable): A candidate who wants to
avail the benefit of reservation for PWD would have to submit an Identity Card and Passbook with Disability Certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
